Second Anniversary Week Schedule
As the week of our anniversary is here we want to make sure that all the details of all the upcoming events are perfectly clear.
Volume II and Our Anniversary Party
On June 20th we'll be having our anniversary party and releasing our second anniversary beer - Volume II. This beer is a potently sour brown ale fermented in High West whiskey barrels with Brettanomyces and Lactobacillus. Volume II weighs in at a hefty 11%, and will be available on draft at the brewery.
We’ll be releasing a limited amount of young kegs of this beer and letting the rest sit to allow them to develop more Brett character for next year. We’re excited to finally have the ability, space, and resources to commit to a project like this.
Cvlt release details
We’ve received some feedback from y’all that we need to clarify some points about the Cvlt signups. We’re opening up comments on this post to allow you to weigh in with any other questions that you may have.
Date and Time
The last day of the renewal period for existing Cvlt members is June 20th. After this date we will no longer be filling 2013 growlers.
On June 21st from 12pm to 2pm we will be opening access to anyone interested in becoming an acolyte of the Cvlt.
Location
Enrollment in the Cvlt will be happening at the Acid Temple ONLY on June 21. We will not be enrolling members of the Cvlt at our Broadway location on this day.
The Acid Temple is located at 2620 West 2nd Avenue, Unit 5. Here is a map to guide you to your treasure.
This place is gonna be so awesome.
We have a plethora of storage space at the Acid Temple and very little at Broadway, thus it makes far more sense for us to store the growlers and bottles there. This is why we are kindly asking all new and renewed members of the Cvlt to pick up their bottles and growlers at the Acid Temple on the 21st. We also wanted to give members of the Cvlt an opportunity to see the place in its pre-renovated state. Ordo Utris Cerevisiae releases will all be at the Acid Temple, thus each quarter you'll have an opportunity to see the progress we make on the space.
If you have renewed your membership and absolutely cannot make it to the Acid Temple on the 21st, please send us an email through our contact form to arrange a time to pick up your Cvlt membership.
Proxies
The question of allowing non-locals to select a local proxy to pick up your beer for you has been brought up as well. We will only sell one membership to any individual (i.e. you must be here in person on the 21st), however once you have purchased your membership there is nothing to stop you from giving your membership card to another person. If you are going to have someone pick up your future bottles for you, we kindly ask that you send us an email through our contact form letting us know who will act as your proxy. Your proxy will need to provide evidence that they are 21 years of age or over.
Anniversary Show
Last but not least, we will be having our Second Anniversary Bacchanal at the Marquis Theatre on June 21st at 6pm. Our Taproom will be open from 12pm to 4pm for you to pregame for the show.
Tickets are available online, or should you want to avoid service fees you can purchase them at our Taproom. We are lucky enough to have Power Trip, Bongripper, Call of the Void, In the Company of Serpents, Khemmis, Stoic Dissention and Catholic Girls helping us ring in our terrible twos.
Last but not least, despite the fact we are wicked, we will be closed on the 22nd to get some rest.
